Astrology, insense, candlelight, wine and a good book. That's what Linda enjoys during her time off. And her sister who lives in Hasselt.
Linda likes to cycle through the nice places in and around Apeldoorn. But she also likes to cycle through other places in Holland. Although it has to be nice weather, because she doesn't like to cycle in the rain. That's what she has to do a lot on the way to work. She did like Turkey a lot after her vacation there.
Here are a few old pictures of her that I found in some books, it might be nice to take a look at them. This one has made a very old friend of her when she was young and did wear very nice glasses. She gots the looks of the 70's. That was a great time.
Linda also likes to drive her car. That went so good after she passed her exam that the first car that she ever had was so bumped that it had to go to the graveyard. Her kid Rosita is a great car driver too, in a same way. She got it from her?
And it was a lady called Diana. After that she had lots of "ducks" (a citroen cv) in colours like orange and green. And the where all taken good care off because she drives very well and has been doing this for many years. No more bumps against trees and so. Sometimes she gets a speeding ticket because she likes to keep up the pace. She knows how to make speed because 120 km/hr is not fast enough. (That's when it's quiet on the road). 140 km/h is the speed to drive is her moto.
Well, she drives an Alto Sport and you just have to pick up speed whilst driving this car. She can easily drive a 150 km/hr when she has the wind in the back. She would also like to have a go in a formula one racing car. Well that has to stay a dream because that's just not possible. She is to long, to fit in and her oldman to big.
She also loves animals. She would like a house near the end of the woods and start an animal shelter there. But only for dogs, cats are nice but not always as easy. And also the dog has to be a dog with a good size, so no small dogs allowed. Brillie hates dogs (lopende vlooien dozen a joke in dutch). She is still waiting (as Brillie also is) waiting for a person with a large bag of money or winning the lottery (Kom maar aan Henny Huisman / het staatslot is bijna op !). For a houses next to a big wood. And good setup for Ham-radio. Still looking for it.
Linda used to study in the healthcare. It ended up as family care. But it wasn't the job for her, it all had to do with the bad payment and heavy workload. She now works at a place called Visio Looerf in Apeldoorn. And her sister-in-law also works there too (nou ja werken?!).
As I said before; she loves to read books. At this moment it are the books of Rosamunde Pilcher. But she also likes the floppy romans. All this lying on the couch, with the cd-dvd player on and the tv off. And of cause Brillie has to leave the room too.
He has to go to his hobby room. She will call for him when she needs him. And Adriaan likes it this way too, he has got the freedom to go and play with his computer and all off his QSL cards and his radio ham stuff. PE2K is on the air on 6 meter and HF from 160 meter to 10 meter. And is very active with contesting.
And Linda like line-dance. Ones a week, she did go to the line-dance club in Apeldoorn. But like to go to the Pasar Malam too. We went every year to the IJsselhallen in Zwolle for a great time there. And in Vaassen, or Arnhem. But that one is very small. And not a lot of entertaiment like in Zwolle. But always fun to be there.
The last years is Linda very active as Reiki master, in the Usui system. She can do very nice things with her hands. She believes there in. I am a non Reiki believe person. But i do surport her. And now that Rosita left the house, the free chamber has becomes a reiki chamber. And standing with a lot of books.
And Linda like to get the stamps of the QSL post of PE2K. She is collecting them. If you have some nice ones for her? Please do send it to her. She will be very happy to get them.
